Last year, Pascal was about 9 months old celebrating his first Halloween. He was a quintessential Halloween character: the dinosaur. Definitely not a T-Rex since he wasn't yet walking and had to crawl around on all fours like most other dinosaurs (except the flying and swimming ones).

He also went to his first pumpkin farm just prior to Halloween with his little friend Will, with whom he has shared many adventures since. Aren't they just so delightfully squidgy?

This year, Halloween 2011, Pascal was slightly older and more mature at 21 months old, walking and able to eat chocolate with ease. But we took him around in his little push car, otherwise it would have taken 2 hours to go visit the 10 houses we did instead of 45 minutes. One bonus of this year: it was at least 15 degrees warmer than last year.

Warm as a toasted...

I'm feeling pretty diva here in my leggings and faux Goodwill find uggs.

Want s'more? (costume idea taken from this way more ambitious family).
Thor had a minor wardrobe malfunction (not his fault) but improvised beautifully.

The fluff (quilt batting) was really getting in the way of getting to the candy.

So I helped the dear marshmallow boy out and gave him just one treat for the night.
